Worth knowing before you offer

Housing here mostly predates 1990. Furnaces, roofs and windows at or past replacement age are the norm rather than a red flag, but they belong in your offer price.
Lot sizes vary a lot between the pre-war streets near Riverside Drive and the 1970s subdivisions south of Tecumseh Road. Check the survey rather than the photos if a garage or an addition matters to you.
Confirm whether a property is on municipal sanitary sewer. Parts of the older town were serviced late, and a few pockets still have septic components in the ground.

About Tecumseh Town Centre

Tecumseh's town centre runs along Tecumseh Road East and down to Riverside Drive on Lake St. Clair, starting where Windsor's Forest Glade and Riverside end. It is a settled, largely post-war and 1970s residential area with its own commercial strip, and the shortest county commute into Windsor of anywhere in the region.

Tecumseh as a municipality is an amalgamation — the old town, St. Clair Beach and Sandwich South joined in 1999 — and the three parts still look nothing like each other. This area is the old town, and it is the one with sidewalks.
